CTN Special Issue of American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse

The greatly anticipated special CTN issue of American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse (2011, v. 37(5)) is now available online!  The issue brings together articles that reflect 12 years of experience in the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN), with methodological and statistical issues that arise in the design and conduct of controlled, multi-site, community-based effectiveness trials. To date, the CTN has randomized over 13,000 patients into 27 completed trials, with more trials currently ongoing, providing a wealth of experience in design, implementation, and analysis of effectiveness trials.

This issue features a broad spectrum of CTN ancillary investigations, lessons learned, and ideas for the future, many co-written by or involving the work of researchers and counselors from the Pacific Northwest Node.

Find all the articles from the special CTN issue in the CTN Dissemination Library (where you can read the abstracts and request copies of the full articles you are interested in from the CTN Dissemination Librarians!):

And congratulations to all the researchers, counselors, statisticians, and more whose hard work in the CTN is featured in the issue!
