PN Node’s Recognition & Orientation Luncheon a Success!

October 28, 2010

On October 12, the Pacific Northwest Node held a kick-off luncheon to welcome new members and celebrate past successes.  It was held at the UW’s Urban Horticulture Center, which was the location of the site visit when the Node was first being considered for inclusion in the CTN in the summer of 2000.

The event included introductions to new investigators and CTPs, tokens of recognition for hardworking clinical and research staff, orientation for new CTPs, discussion of CTP representation on the national Steering Committee, and a continuing education component.

Presentations from Brenda Stuvek and Don Calsyn of ADAI are available here:

CTN Bird’s Eye View: The Old, the New, the Alphabet Soup – B. Stuvek

PAMI: Promoting Awareness of Motivational Incentives: Focus on Founding Principles and an Implementation Checklist (CTN Dissemination Library) – D. Calsyn

Big thanks to all the Node staff who worked so hard to put this fabulous event together!
